Domaine des Aubuisières Bernard Fouquet Vouvray Moelleux 'Cuvée Saint Jean' is a sweet white wine from the Loire Valley, showcasing the lusciously sweet end of Vouvray's remarkable stylistic range.

Vouvray, on the Loire's north bank near Tours, is one of the great homes of Chenin Blanc, capable of producing everything from bone-dry to intensely sweet wines thanks to its clay-flint and clay-limestone soils and a climate well suited to the development of noble rot in favourable years. Domaine des Aubuisières was built into one of the appellation's benchmark estates by Bernard Fouquet, who farmed Chenin Blanc across a range of terroirs to explore this full spectrum of styles; the domaine is now led by Charles Lesaffre, continuing the same painstaking, terroir-focused approach.

In the moelleux style, this is a rich, honeyed dessert wine with the grape's hallmark acidity for balance, ideal with fruit-based desserts, blue cheese or simply on its own.
