Domaine Dubost Beaujolais-Villages Lantignié Rouge 2025

Domaine Dubost Beaujolais-Villages Lantignié Rouge is a light-bodied Gamay from the granite slopes of northern Beaujolais.

The village sits on the northern edge of the Villages zone, between Régnié and Beaujeu, on pink granite and sandy clay that give Gamay perfume and lift. It has long been counted among the strongest Villages communes, and local growers have pushed for cru status. The family estate is based there, working old gobelet-trained vines and picking by hand. Whole-bunch, semi-carbonic fermentation with a short cuvaison draws out colour and aroma without hard tannin, and ageing in concrete and stainless steel keeps the fruit bright.

Juicy and bright, with crunchy red fruit and fine, low tannin. Chill it lightly to 14–15°C and pour with charcuterie, roast chicken, grilled sausages or a simple cheese board. It's easy drinking right now.
