Description

Domaine Dugat-Py Bourgogne Rouge is the domaine's regional red, made with the same care as its grands crus.

The fruit comes from parcels around Gevrey-Chambertin that fall outside the village appellation. Bernard Dugat-Py and his son Loïc work from cellars in the heart of Gevrey-Chambertin, part of which occupy a medieval tithe building. The domaine is small, farmed organically and known for severe crop levels. Fruit is picked by hand and sorted hard, fermented in small lots and matured in oak.

Serve at about 15 degrees with roast chicken, charcuterie or mushroom dishes.
