Description

Domaine Dugat-Py Monthélie "Combe Danay" Blanc is a single-vineyard village white from the small village between Volnay and Meursault.

Combe Danay is a named site on the upper slope of Monthélie, a village better known for its reds. Bernard Dugat-Py and his son Loïc work from cellars in the heart of Gevrey-Chambertin, part of which occupy a medieval tithe building. The domaine is small, farmed organically and known for severe crop levels. Whites are pressed in whole bunches, fermented and matured in barrel and bottled in small quantities.

Serve at about 11 degrees with grilled fish, chicken or soft cheeses.
