Description

Domaine Dugat-Py Vosne-Romanée Très Vieilles Vignes is a village red from Burgundy's most celebrated commune, made from very old vines.

Vosne-Romanée is home to Romanée-Conti and La Tâche, and its village wines share the commune's reputation for perfume and silkiness. Bernard Dugat-Py and his son Loïc work from cellars in the heart of Gevrey-Chambertin, part of which occupy a medieval tithe building. The domaine is small, farmed organically and known for severe crop levels. Fruit is picked by hand and sorted hard, fermented in small lots and matured in oak.

Decant and serve at about 16 degrees with duck, veal or mushroom dishes.
