Description

Domaine Goisot Bourgogne Côtes d'Auxerre Corps de Garde Blanc is the domaine's old-vine Chardonnay.

Corps de Garde takes its name from the family's fourteenth-century guardhouse, an underground medieval safe-house that now forms part of the cellar. The Chardonnay comes from vines over forty years old on Kimmeridgian limestone with varying depths of clay and marl, and no new oak is used. The Goisots farm biodynamically at Saint-Bris in northern Burgundy.

Serve at 12 degrees with roast poultry, scallops, a cream sauce or an aged hard cheese.
