Domaine Hubert Lignier Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru is a Grand Cru red Burgundy made entirely from Pinot Noir grown within the walled Clos de Vougeot vineyard.

Clos de Vougeot is the largest Grand Cru of the Côte de Nuits, a walled vineyard first enclosed by Cistercian monks centuries ago; its varied soils across the slope give Pinot Noir a broad, generous character while carrying the pedigree of one of Burgundy's most historic sites. Domaine Hubert Lignier is a family-run estate based in Morey-Saint-Denis, in the heart of the Côte de Nuits, farming parcels across several of Burgundy's most sought-after appellations. Now guided by the following generation of the Lignier family, the domaine continues a meticulous, hands-on approach in the vineyard and a gentle, traditional touch in the cellar, aiming to let the character of each individual site come through in the finished wine.

This is a polished, age-worthy red Burgundy, well suited to a special occasion or cellaring, and a natural match for roast game, duck or mature hard cheeses.
