Domaine Hubert Lignier Mazoyères-Chambertin Grand Cru is a Grand Cru red Burgundy made entirely from Pinot Noir grown within the Gevrey-Chambertin commune, here bottled in magnum format.

Mazoyères-Chambertin is one of Gevrey-Chambertin's nine Grand Crus, sitting on the lower part of the slope with clay-rich limestone soils that generally produce Pinot Noir of generous, textured richness. Domaine Hubert Lignier is a family-run estate based in Morey-Saint-Denis, in the heart of the Côte de Nuits, farming parcels across several of Burgundy's most sought-after appellations. Now guided by the following generation of the Lignier family, the domaine continues a meticulous, hands-on approach in the vineyard and a gentle, traditional touch in the cellar, aiming to let the character of each individual site come through in the finished wine.

Bottled in magnum, this is a polished, age-worthy red Burgundy suited to long cellaring or a special-occasion table, and a natural match for roast game, duck or mature hard cheeses.
