Domaine Jamet Côte-Rôtie, presented here in a 375ml half-bottle, is the benchmark cuvée of one of the Northern Rhône's most celebrated estates, blending Syrah grown across the appellation's historic hillsides above Ampuis.

Côte-Rôtie's steep, terraced slopes overlooking the Rhône River are divided into the ferrous Côte Brune and the sandier Côte Blonde, and Domaine Jamet farms parcels across both, drawing together fruit from a range of prized lieux-dits for its classic cuvée. The domaine traces its roots to Joseph Jamet and was built into one of the appellation's leading names by brothers Jean-Paul and Jean-Luc Jamet; today it is run by Jean-Paul, his wife Corinne and son Loïc, who continue the family's traditional, non-interventionist winemaking, including whole-cluster fermentation and ageing in large old oak foudres.

A refined, structured red that reflects the elegance and complexity Côte-Rôtie is famed for, and a handy half-bottle format for smaller gatherings.
