Domaine Lafarge-Vial Chiroubles 2023

Domaine Lafarge-Vial Chiroubles is a red wine from Chiroubles, one of the ten crus of Beaujolais, made entirely from Gamay.

Domaine Lafarge-Vial was established in 2014 by Frédéric and Chantal Lafarge, Frédéric from the well-known Volnay family behind Domaine Michel Lafarge, and Chantal lending her maiden name, Vial, to the new venture. Starting with just over two hectares in Fleurie, the couple has since expanded their holdings across several Beaujolais crus, farming organically and biodynamically with the same meticulous, terroir-focused approach they apply to their Burgundy vineyards. Chiroubles itself sits at some of the highest elevations in Beaujolais, where granite soils and cooler nights tend to produce wines of particular freshness and perfume.

A bright, elegant red best enjoyed with a slight chill, ideal for charcuterie and lighter fare.
