Description

Domaine Louis-Claude Desvignes l'Aube à Javernières is a Beaujolais from the family's holdings at Morgon.

Javernières is a lieu-dit on the Côte du Py side of Morgon, and l'aube means dawn. Released as straightforward Beaujolais rather than under the cru name, the wine comes to the table earlier and at a lower price than the domaine's Morgon bottlings. Gamay is fermented whole-bunch on granite and schist soils.

Serve cool at 14 degrees with charcuterie, roast chicken or a picnic lunch. Drink within five years.
