Domaine Marc Sorrel Hermitage Rouge is the estate's classic red Hermitage, blended from several parcels on the Hermitage hill in the northern Rhône.

Hermitage is one of France's oldest and most prestigious appellations, its steep granite hill overlooking the Rhône near Tain-l'Hermitage long regarded as producing some of the world's most powerful and long-lived Syrah. Domaine Marc Sorrel is a small, well-respected family estate, farming vines across several of the hill's noted lieux-dits and crafting wines in a traditional, understated style that favours structure and longevity over flashiness.

This is a firm, structured red, well suited to hearty roasts and slow-cooked dishes, and one that rewards a few years in the cellar.
