Domaine Naturaliste Discovery Syrah is a juicy, medium-bodied Margaret River Shiraz made for drinking young.

Bruce Dukes learnt his trade in California, then settled in the region and made wine for many other producers there. His entry-level Syrah draws on fruit from vineyards across the district, where gravelly, ironstone soils and the influence of two oceans give ripe fruit with freshness. The Syrah name signals a cooler, peppery, savoury style, with oak kept well back.

Bright and juicy with gentle spice. Bring it out with lamb koftas, pizza or barbecued sausages at 15–17°C, and drink it over the next few years.
