Domaine Naturaliste Le Naturaliste Cabernet Franc 2020

Domaine Naturaliste Le Naturaliste Cabernet Franc is a single-varietal Margaret River red and the flagship of Bruce Dukes' range.

Gravelly, ironstone-rich soils and a maritime climate, with the Indian Ocean on one side and the Southern Ocean on the other, mean ripe grapes that hold their freshness. Most local Cabernet Franc disappears into blends. Here the winery takes selected fruit, keeps it on its own and matures it in French oak for structure and ageing.

Savoury and fragrant, with plenty of grip. Decant it for about an hour and pour at 16–18°C alongside roast lamb, duck or a hard cheese with some age on it. Or leave it in the cellar a while longer.
