Domaine Oudin Premier Cru Vaugiraut 2023

Domaine Oudin Vaugiraut is a Chablis premier cru from a sheltered valley near Chichée.

Vaugiraut lies on the right bank of the Serein on Kimmeridgian marl, in a side valley that protects the vines from the worst of the spring frosts that regularly threaten Chablis. Premier cru sites here must come from one of the forty named climats. The wine sees little or no new oak, in keeping with the appellation.

Serve at 11 degrees with scallops, roast chicken or a creamy fish dish. It develops over seven years.
