Domaine Perrot-Minot Vosne-Romanée VV 2023

Domaine Perrot-Minot Vosne-Romanée VV is a village-level Pinot Noir from old vines in Vosne-Romanée, home to some of the Côte de Nuits' most celebrated grand cru vineyards.

Domaine Perrot-Minot is a fourth-generation estate based in Morey-Saint-Denis, its current name dating to 1963 when Marie-France Merme married Henri Perrot-Minot. Their son Christophe, who joined the domaine in 1993 after several years as a Burgundy wine broker, has overseen a shift since the 2006 vintage toward gentler extraction, low yields and a restrained hand with new oak, farming around 20 hectares of premier cru and grand cru sites across the Côte de Nuits. Wines are bottled without fining or filtration, aiming for purity and precision rather than sheer power.

Perfumed and silky in the way Vosne-Romanée is famed for, this is an elegant red suited to duck, roast poultry and other dishes that favour finesse over power.
