Domaine Pierre Usseglio & Fils Côtes du Rhône is a Southern Rhône red from one of Châteauneuf-du-Pape's most respected family estates, made in the broad, regional Côtes du Rhône appellation.

The Côtes du Rhône appellation is the largest and most encompassing designation in the Rhône Valley, drawing on the warm, Mediterranean-influenced climate and mistral winds that define the south. Domaine Pierre Usseglio & Fils was founded in 1931 when Francis Usseglio emigrated from Italy and began working the vines of Châteauneuf-du-Pape; the estate remains in family hands four generations later, now farming close to 48 hectares across Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Lirac, Côtes du Rhône and Vin de France plantings. The family's approach favours hand-harvesting and a close reading of each parcel's soils, applied consistently across all of the estate's Southern Rhône appellations.

Blended from classic Southern Rhône varieties, it is an approachable, food-friendly red suited to everyday drinking as well as the table.
