Domaine Raoul Gautherin & Fils Chablis 1er Cru 'Vaillons' is a Chardonnay from Vaillons, one of the largest and most respected premier cru vineyards on Chablis's left bank.

Vaillons sits alongside Montmains in the group of left-bank premier crus opposite the grand cru hillside, its Kimmeridgian limestone-clay soils yielding wines prized for their balance of freshness and depth. The vineyard is farmed by Domaine Raoul Gautherin & Fils, a Gautherin family estate based in the village of Chablis with roots stretching back centuries, today run by Alain and Adrien Gautherin. The domaine tends parcels across all four tiers of the Chablis appellation, working the land in a rigorous, reasoned and sustainable way to let the region's distinctive limestone terroir speak for itself.

A generous yet precise expression of premier cru Chablis, it pairs naturally with shellfish, white fish and lighter poultry dishes.
