Domaine Raoul Gautherin & Fils Chablis Grand Cru 'Grenouilles' is a Chardonnay from Grenouilles, the smallest of Chablis's seven grand cru climats.

Grenouilles sits mid-slope on the right bank's celebrated grand cru hillside, above the town of Chablis, where the steep Kimmeridgian limestone exposure gives the grand crus their exceptional concentration and ageing potential. The vineyard is farmed by Domaine Raoul Gautherin & Fils, a Gautherin family estate based in the village of Chablis with roots stretching back centuries, today run by Alain and Adrien Gautherin. The domaine tends parcels across all four tiers of the Chablis appellation, working the land in a rigorous, reasoned and sustainable way to let the region's distinctive limestone terroir speak for itself.

A powerful, structured expression of grand cru Chablis, it suits richer seafood and white-meat dishes and rewards those willing to cellar it.
