Domaine Roblet-Monnot Volnay 1er Cru 'Brouillards' is a premier cru Pinot Noir from the Brouillards climat in Volnay, an appellation famed on the Côte de Beaune for perfumed, silky red wines.

Domaine Roblet-Monnot has its roots in 1865, when Victor Delagrange founded the estate in Volnay; Pascal Roblet took charge in 1990 and set about converting the vineyards to biodynamic farming, one of the first growers in the region to do so. High-density planting, restricted yields, horse-ploughing in parts of the vineyard and meticulous hand-sorting all feed into a traditional winemaking approach, with long élevage in barrel and bottling without fining or filtration.

This is a graceful, food-friendly red in the classic Volnay style, well suited to roast poultry, mushroom dishes and softer cheeses.
