Domaine Roux Bourgogne Aligoté Albus 2022

Domaine Roux Albus is a Bourgogne Aligoté, made from Burgundy's other white grape.

Aligoté ripens later and keeps sharper acidity than Chardonnay, which historically made it the everyday white of the region and the base of a kir; better sites and lower yields have lifted its standing considerably in the past decade. Albus means white in Latin. The wine is fermented cool and bottled without oak.

Serve at 9 degrees with oysters, snails or a goat's cheese salad. Drink within four years.
