Domaine Santa Duc Côtes du Rhône 'Les Quatre Terres' 2025

Domaine Santa Duc Côtes du Rhône 'Les Quatre Terres' is a juicy, Grenache-led southern Rhône red drawn from four soil types.

Sand, clay-limestone, galets and sandstone each contribute a parcel, and every one is picked and vinified separately before the blend comes together. Grenache leads, backed by Syrah and Mourvèdre. The Gras family, based at Gigondas, farm organically and biodynamically well beyond their home appellation; Yves Gras built the reputation from the 1980s and his son Benjamin has since taken over. Wild yeasts, some whole bunches, then concrete and large old wood keep it fresh and direct.

Red berries, ground pepper and a dry, herby finish, in a medium-bodied frame. Pour it lightly chilled, around 15–16°C, with grilled lamb, sausages, ratatouille or hard cheese.
