Description

Domaine Santa Duc Vacqueyras 'Les Aubes' 2024 is a peppery, red-fruited Grenache blend grown on the stony terraces of the southern Rhône.

The appellation sits just across the Ouvèze from Gigondas, on plateau ground of sand and clay where Grenache ripens fully without losing its lift. Certification for organic and biodynamic farming covers the whole property, which the Gras family run from their base in Gigondas, and the same unhurried approach carries from the grand cru parcels down to this cuvée.

Expect raspberry and garrigue herbs over a dusting of black pepper, with tannins that stay supple throughout. Serve at 15–17°C alongside lamb skewers, ratatouille or a plate of charcuterie.
