Domaine Séguinot-Bordet Bourgogne Chardonnay 2024

Domaine Séguinot-Bordet Bourgogne Chardonnay is the entry point into one of Chablis's most enduring family estates, made in the same crisp, mineral house style as the domaine's village and cru wines.

The Bordet family has grown grapes around Maligny, just north of Chablis, since at least 1590, making it one of the oldest continuously farmed estates in the appellation. Today the domaine is run by Jean-François Bordet, who farms across chalky Kimmeridgian and Portlandian soils under High Environmental Value certification, with no chemical treatments used across the vineyards. This Bourgogne cuvée is sourced from parcels just outside the Chablis boundary and vinified with the same restrained hand as the estate's classified wines, using minimal oak and extended lees contact in stainless steel to build texture without masking the fruit.

A fresh, everyday white, it is an easy match for shellfish, goat's cheese and simple weeknight cooking.
