Domaine Séguinot-Bordet Chablis is the classic village-level expression from one of Chablis's most historic family estates, bottled here under screwcap for easy, reliable freshness.

The Bordet family has farmed vines around Maligny, just north of the town of Chablis, since at least 1590, and the domaine is now run by Jean-François Bordet under High Environmental Value certification, with no chemical treatments used in the vineyard. This village Chablis is drawn from parcels on the appellation's characteristic Kimmeridgian limestone, rich in ancient marine fossils, which gives the region's Chardonnay its distinctive chalky minerality. In the cellar the wine sees no oak, aged instead in stainless steel to preserve the pure, flinty character the region is known for.

A crisp, food-friendly white, it is an easy match for oysters, other shellfish and simply prepared fish.
