Description

Domaine Vincent Latour Meursault 1er Cru Goutte d'Or is a golden, mineral premier cru Meursault with a lemony finish.

Goutte d'Or, meaning drop of gold, lies on the northern side of Meursault close to the village, and it is known for rich and often spicy wines. The domaine is a family property in Meursault, crafting its Chardonnay the classic Burgundian way with fermentation and ageing in oak barrels. Light golden in the glass, this bottling shows mineral and floral notes with a touch of lemongrass, then a rich palate lifted by fine minerality and a citrus finish.

Serve at around 11 to 13 degrees. Its richness pairs well with crayfish, pork loin with apple or a Thai-style green chicken curry. It will develop further with a few years in the cellar.
