Domaine William Fèvre Les Clos Grand Cru comes from the largest and steepest of the seven Grand Cru climats of Chablis.

Les Clos occupies the heart of the Grand Cru slope above the right bank of the Serein, where the soil is thin over Kimmeridgian marl and the incline is sharp enough to make working the vines hard. It has long been considered the most structured and the longest-lived of the Chablis Grand Crus. William Fèvre founded the domaine in 1959 and holds more Grand Cru vineyard than anyone else in the appellation; the Henriot family bought the estate in 1998 and Didier Séguier has made the wines since, picking by hand, pressing whole bunches and keeping new oak out of the cellar.

Serve at around 12 degrees with lobster, turbot or an aged Comté.
