Domaine Yves Cuilleron Condrieu 'Le Petit Côte' Viognier is a full, perfumed white from the northern Rhône in a 375ml half bottle.

The appellation is a small one on the right bank south of Vienne, planted only to Viognier on decomposed granite, with slopes steep enough that nearly all the work is manual. The domaine's several terraced parcels are picked when fully ripe. Yves Cuilleron has run things at Chavanay since the mid-1980s, building one of the leading names in the region. Wild yeasts ferment the juice in barrel, then it matures on lees in French oak, partly new, with stirring for the broad, creamy texture the appellation is known for.

Dry but generous, with apricot perfume and a warm finish. The half bottle suits two people or a single course; serve at 10–12°C with scallops, crab, roast chicken or mildly spiced Asian dishes.
