Domaine Yves Cuilleron Roussanne 2025

Domaine Yves Cuilleron Roussanne is a dry, textured single-varietal white from the hillsides of the northern Rhône.

Of the two classic white grapes of the region, Roussanne is the more delicate: lower yielding and later ripening than Marsanne, with fine aromatics and a firm line. The family has grown vines at Chavanay since the 1920s, and alongside the appellation wines bottles a range of single varieties under the Collines Rhodaniennes IGP, from younger vines and sites outside the crus. Picked by hand, the grapes are pressed and fermented in a mix of tank and barrel, then rest on lees for several months.

Orchard fruit, a savoury edge and a gently nutty finish, medium-bodied and dry. Serve at 10–12°C with roast pork, veal, creamy pasta or a soft-rind cheese.
