Domaine Yves Cuilleron Saint Joseph 'Lyséras' is a medium-bodied Marsanne and Roussanne blend, here in a 375ml half bottle.

Parcels around Chavanay and Saint-Pierre-de-Bœuf, on steep terraces of granite and schist across the river from Hermitage, supply this regular white cuvée. Marsanne gives breadth and weight, and Roussanne brings aroma and freshness. Picking is by hand, the bunches go into the press whole, and fermentation runs on wild yeasts in barrel and older wood. The wine then sits on fine lees for the best part of a year, with little new oak.

Supple and dry, with stone fruit and a fresh finish. The smaller format means a meal for two, or a glass each without committing to a full bottle; serve at 10–12°C with roast chicken, grilled fish or creamy cheese.
