Domaines Schlumberger Riesling Grands Crus Kessler 2021

Domaines Schlumberger Kessler Riesling comes from one of the Grand Cru slopes above Guebwiller.

Kessler is a sheltered, south-facing amphitheatre on sandstone soils, one of fifty-one Grands Crus in Alsace and one of four in which Schlumberger holds substantial parcels. The terraces are so steep that horses still work parts of the estate. Riesling here is bone dry, with the acidity to age for years.

Serve at 10 degrees with trout, choucroute or a washed-rind cheese. It rewards a decade.
