Dormilona Aka 2026

Dormilona Aka 2026 is a red blend of Shiraz, Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon from Margaret River in Western Australia.

All three varieties were picked by hand at the Yungarra vineyard. The Tempranillo arrived first and was destemmed, left overnight on its skins and then pressed to tank, while the Shiraz and Cabernet came in together later in the harvest. That sequence, with one component given only a brief maceration, points to a wine built for freshness and drinkability rather than extraction.

Expect a light to medium-bodied red with crunchy red fruit, a herbal Cabernet edge and soft tannin. Serve it cool, around 14 to 16 degrees, and it will handle a chill on a warm day. Good with grilled meat, roast chicken, tomato dishes or a cheese plate.
