Description

DuMOL Estate Vineyard Chardonnay Sonoma Coast is a single-vineyard Chardonnay from the winery's own cool site in western Sonoma County.

Out in the fog-influenced west of the county, the team farm their own planting and keep yields in check. The wine is barrel fermented and matured in French oak, and it carries the tension and fine acidity you get from a cool climate. The business dates from the mid-1990s.

Plenty of richness, kept fresh by fine acidity, with citrus, stone fruit and a textured finish. Pour at 10–12°C with roast chicken, crayfish, scallops in brown butter or soft-rind cheeses.
