DuMOL Finn Pinot Noir Russian River Valley 2023

DuMOL Finn Pinot Noir Russian River Valley is a bright, perfumed Pinot Noir from a small Sonoma County producer.

Morning fog settles over the valley most days, and that cooling gives the grapes their natural acidity. This is one of the winery's Pinot bottlings from the area, made in small lots and matured in French oak, with bright red fruit and fine tannin to the fore. The business was founded in the mid-1990s and still works closely with long-term growers.

Red and dark cherry, gently spiced, with fine tannins and good lift. Good with duck breast, roast pork, salmon or mushroom risotto, served a little cool at 15–16°C.
