Description

DuMOL Wester Reach Pinot Noir Russian River Valley is a cool-climate Pinot Noir blended from sites across the appellation.

Several vineyards go into this blend, chosen to show the character of the whole valley instead of one spot. The grapes are fermented in small lots, then matured in French oak for perfume and fine-grained structure. Western Sonoma, cooled by Pacific air, has been the winery's home ground since the mid-1990s.

Expect perfumed red and dark cherry, some gentle spice and fine tannins. Serve slightly cool (15–16°C) alongside duck breast, roast pork, salmon or mushroom risotto.
