Description

Empire of Dirt BANG BANG Cloudy Sparkling is an unfiltered, hazy sparkling wine from the Geelong region of Victoria.

Cloudy sparkling skips the fine filtration and disgorging that a clear sparkling goes through, so some lees stay in the bottle, giving a hazy look and extra texture. The fruit comes from cool country south-west of Melbourne, where breezes off Port Phillip Bay and Bass Strait keep the season long. The label is small and fond of loud names.

Lively and textural, and a great aperitif. Chill it well (6–8°C) and try it with oysters, fried snacks, charcuterie or soft cheeses. Gently turn the bottle before opening to spread the sediment through.
