Epsilon Shiraz 2023

Epsilon Shiraz is a Barossa Valley Shiraz sourced from the Greenock district in the north west of the valley.

Greenock sits in the north west of the Barossa Valley and is one of its most highly regarded sub-districts for Shiraz. The soils are largely red-brown earth and ironstone over clay, and the warm, dry growing season produces fruit of real depth and ripeness, with the firm tannin structure that marks the northern Barossa. Shiraz has been grown here since the nineteenth century, and the Barossa holds some of the oldest Shiraz vines in the world. This wine is made to express that Greenock character, with fruit and structure in balance, and is sealed under screwcap.

A rich, full-bodied Shiraz for barbecued beef, lamb and hearty stews; serve at around 17 to 18 degrees.
