Equipo Navazos La Bota 64 Brandy Single Cask, Bota NO 700ml

La Bota 64 is a single-cask Brandy de Jerez, bottled in its entirety by Equipo Navazos.

Equipo Navazos began as a project to find and bottle exceptional casks in the bodegas of Jerez, El Puerto de Santa María and Sanlúcar de Barrameda, and its brandy releases follow the same method as its sherries. The holandas for this bottling were unearthed in a bodega in Jerez, double-distilled in the French manner to 72 per cent alcohol. The spirit spent its first twelve years in new Limousin oak butts and the remainder in former oloroso butts, reaching close to twenty years of age. A single butt was then selected and bottled by hand in full, yielding around 800 bottles at 42 per cent alcohol. As with every Navazos release it is non-chill-filtered, with no added aromatics, sweeteners or colouring.

Serve neat at room temperature in a tulip glass rather than a balloon, after dinner with dark chocolate, walnuts or aged Manchego.
