Fallen Giants Serra Range Shiraz 2022

Fallen Giants Serra Range Shiraz is a single-site wine named after the ranges above the vineyard.

The Serra Range runs along the southern Grampians, and the vineyards below it sit high enough that harvest comes late and the wines keep a peppery lift. Grampians Shiraz has been a distinct Australian style since the nineteenth century, closer to the northern Rhône than to South Australia. The wine is matured in French oak.

Decant and serve at 17 degrees with roast beef, game or hard cheese. It rewards a decade or more.
