Fat Bastard Chenin Blanc 2025

Fat Bastard Chenin Blanc comes from South Africa, where the variety has its largest plantings in the world.

Chenin Blanc arrived at the Cape in the seventeenth century and is still known there as Steen; South Africa grows more of it than France does. It gives a dry white with quince and citrus character and firm acidity, holding its freshness through warm ripening. The wine is fermented cool and bottled without oak.

Serve at 10 degrees with roast chicken, fish or a soft cheese. Drink within three years.
