Fontodi Chianti Classico 375ml 2022

Fontodi Chianti Classico is the estate's benchmark expression of Sangiovese, grown entirely within the Panzano subzone of the Chianti Classico appellation.

The Manetti family, who took over Fontodi in the 1960s after generations as terracotta makers, farm their vineyards organically and biodynamically within the Conca d'Oro, an amphitheatre-shaped basin above Panzano prized for its galestro soils and favourable exposures. Their commitment to low-intervention viticulture and traditional Sangiovese has made Fontodi one of the most consistently admired producers in Chianti Classico.

A medium-bodied, food-friendly red, it suits tomato-based dishes, grilled meats and everyday Tuscan classics, and is offered here in a convenient 375ml half-bottle.
