Fontodi Chianti Classico Filetta di Lamole is a single-vineyard Sangiovese sourced from Lamole, a cooler, higher-altitude pocket of the Chianti Classico appellation.

Lamole sits at some of the highest elevations in Chianti Classico, its terraced vineyards and sandy, decomposed-granite soils prized for producing wines of unusual perfume, freshness and fine tannin structure compared with warmer, lower-lying sites. Fontodi, the Manetti family's organic and biodynamic estate in nearby Panzano, brings the same hands-on, low-intervention approach to this Lamole fruit as it does across its home vineyards in the Conca d'Oro.

An elegant, aromatic red with fine structure, it is well suited to lighter Tuscan dishes, roasted poultry and cured meats.
