Fontodi Chianti Classico Gran Selezione Terrazze San Leolino is a single-vineyard Sangiovese from one of Chianti Classico's most respected estates, sitting at the top tier of the appellation's classification.

Fontodi is based in Panzano in Chianti, within the Conca d'Oro, an amphitheatre of vineyards widely regarded as one of the finest sites in Chianti Classico. The Manetti family has farmed the estate organically and biodynamically for decades, and the San Leolino vineyard is one of their prized terraced parcels, planted to Sangiovese on the property's galestro-rich soils. Gran Selezione is the highest classification within Chianti Classico, reserved for estate-grown fruit that meets stricter quality and ageing requirements than Riserva or annata wines.

A structured, full-bodied red built for the cellar, it suits robust Tuscan cooking, roasted and grilled meats, and aged cheeses.
