Forest Hill Vineyard Estate Gewürztraminer is a fragrant, textural Gewürztraminer from the Great Southern.

Gewürztraminer is not widely planted in Western Australia, but the cool Mount Barker climate suits this aromatic variety, letting it ripen slowly and keep its freshness. Forest Hill, one of the region's pioneering vineyards, grows it on the estate alongside its better-known Riesling. The 2025 is bright straw with green hues and aromas of stone fruit, lychee, musk and ginger. The palate is described as fleshy and textural, with guava, stone fruit, ginger and fresh herbs, a subtle tannin line and fresh natural acidity.

Chill it well and match it with spicy food: Thai green curry, Sichuan dishes, Moroccan chicken or a plate of washed-rind cheese.
