Fratelli Alessandria is a historic estate in Verduno, Piedmont, with roots reaching back to 1830, making it one of the longest-established wineries in the Barolo zone. Best known for its Barolo and the rare Verduno Pelaverga, the estate applies the same careful, vineyard-focused approach to its Barbera d'Alba, selecting well-exposed sites to draw out complexity, richness and ageing potential from the variety. In Piedmont, Barbera d'Alba typically shows more brightness and lift than weight, and Fratelli Alessandria's long family experience with the local terroir helps the wine stay both generous and precise.
