Description

Fringe Société Chardonnay comes from the Languedoc in southern France.

The Languedoc is the largest vineyard region in the world by area, and since the 1980s it has shifted from bulk production to varietal wines made for export, which is where Chardonnay plantings came from. Cooler, higher sites inland give the variety enough acidity to stay fresh. The wine is made with little oak for early drinking.

Serve at 12 degrees with roast chicken, fish or a soft cheese. Drink within three years.
