Frogmore Creek Chardonnay 2024

Frogmore Creek Chardonnay is grown in the Coal River Valley east of Hobart.

Tasmania's cool maritime climate gives Chardonnay a piercing acidity and citrus definition that the mainland struggles to match, and the Coal River's low rainfall means irrigation rather than rain decides the season. The wine is barrel-fermented with lees ageing and restrained new oak.

Serve at 12 degrees with oysters, roast chicken or a soft cheese. It develops over six years.
