Description

Frogmore Creek Pinot Noir comes from the Coal River Valley, inland from Hobart in southern Tasmania.

The Coal River Valley is one of the driest wine districts in Australia, sheltered from the westerly weather, with cold nights and a long season that give Pinot Noir high natural acidity and fine tannin. Tasmania now produces some of the country's most convincing Pinot Noir. The wine is fermented in small lots and matured in French oak.

Serve at 15 degrees with duck, salmon or mushroom dishes. Drink over the next seven years.
