Fromm Pinot Noir The Curation 2020

Fromm Pinot Noir The Curation is the winery's top Pinot Noir, assembled from its finest single-vineyard sites in Marlborough.

Site-specific Pinot Noir built Fromm's reputation, and this cuvée draws together select parcels from those single vineyards into one wine, with the blend decided each year by what the season delivers. The vines are certified organic and picked by hand, and the winemaking aims for structure and transparency over sheer power. The 2020, described by the winery as one of its most exciting vintages since 2010, has a dense, deep red colour, concentrated yet fragrant dark fruit, focus and complexity, and a finish of excellent tension and very fine tannin.

Decant for an hour before serving at around 16 degrees. It will partner roast duck, venison loin, beef fillet with mushrooms or aged Gruyère, and should cellar well for many years.
