Fromm Rosé 2022

Fromm Rosé is a pale, restrained Marlborough rosé blended from red and white grapes.

Best known for its reds, Fromm draws on the same certified organic vineyards for this rosé, combining Malbec, Syrah and Pinot Noir with Chenin Blanc and Chardonnay. The result is pale pink and transparent in colour, with subtle Pinot Noir aromas that carry through to the palate, while Syrah and Malbec add gentle fragrance and a firm structure. The founders, Georg Fromm and Hätsch Kalberer, established the estate in 1992 with a focus on low-yielding, hand-tended vines, and that care shows even in this lighter summer style.

Serve well chilled on a warm afternoon. Summer food suits it best: salade niçoise, grilled prawns, charcuterie or a tomato and goat's cheese tart.
